Kimball Creek

TranTech designed two new bridges to cross two tributaries of Kimball Creek along Meadowbrook Way SE between SE North Bend Way and Railroad Ave. SE (SR 202) in Snoqualmie, WA. The bridges are separated by 600 feet and provide a wider roadway for future considerations.

The superstructure of both new bridges are precast, pre-stressed voided slabs with 5” of cast-in-place concrete. Substructures were cast-in-place concrete abutments founded on 12” concrete-encased steel pipe piles. The design followed the WSDOT Bridge Design Manual (BDM), AASHTO, and City requirements.
