Chestnut Bay at RR Bridge

TranTech provided design and construction administration for rehabilitation of the Chestnut Bay Bridge adjacent to the Waterfront Development Area. The previously existing structure had a low sufficiency rating and a potentially high maintenance factor. Effective structure rehabilitation was the City’s best alternative in maintaining this important transportation link. The project involved coordination with BNSF Railroad to provide plans for approval as well as support in preparing a Right of Entry agreement. Federal funds were used in the project’s planning, design, and construction.
