Marketing Coordinator

Founded in 2005, TranTech is an engineering consulting firm headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, with regional offices in Bellingham, Tumwater, and the Tri-Cities. TranTech consults on structural, civil, and construction management for public works transportation projects. We are a firm founded on the principle of client satisfaction. TranTech has an opportunity for a Marketing Assistant / Marketing Coordinator in our Tumwater office, serving multiple areas throughout Washington. This is a hybrid work position with the option to work remotely part of the time.

Responsibilities and Capabilities

  • Conducting market research to better understand client and market needs
  • Leading the production of proposals and SOQs in deadline-driven environment
  • Coordinating with marketers and project management staff to develop proposals
  • Producing and updating business development reporting on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Developing and maintaining project pipeline tracking and workload forecasting
  • Maintaining and improving marketing database; developing CRM (client relationship management) information and tools
  • Researching and supporting process and software improvements to advance business development in our growing company
  • Researching and purchasing merchandise for conferences
  • Updating and producing social media content, including website updates
  • Peer review of team member’s work, assuring requirements are met and essential information is included in deliverables

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, related field or equivalent
  • Two plus years’ experience in professional marketing services within the A/E/C industry
  • Proficiency in MS applications, InDesign, and Acrobat
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to perform responsibilities listed in previous section
  • Excellent research and information gathering skills

Additional Experience Desired

  • Proficiency in Photoshop and/or Illustrator
  • Graphic design experience
  • Understanding of Excel and experience supporting accounting tasks, to be applied to pursuit tracking
  • Experience maintaining and updating databases

  • Salary range: $66,000-$100,000 depending on experience.
