35th Avenue SE, Maple Rd. and Ash Way Improvements

Snohomish County, WA
As a major subconsultant to another firm, TranTech provided construction inspection services on two projects for Snohomish County. Our inspection staff were integrated as part of the County team to provide daily inspection.

35th Ave SE – Phase 1

The project included widening of an existing north-south congested 2-miles of the roadway to a three-lane urban section by adding a center turn lane, bike lanes, and planter strips. Retaining walls, new storm-water drainage/ detention installation, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, sewer and water main installation, and interchange signals and lighting were installed.
Our role as project inspector required close coordination with the County’s project team members and local homeowners to resolve right-of-way and utility conflicts as they arose.
