TranTech provided design and construction services for the second phase of construction of the Sounder layover facility in Lakewood, Century Yard. This phase of construction added an additional track, storage facility and permanent office for BNSF / Amtrak. TranTech led many civil aspects of the design including roadways, stormwater, sewer, water, and illumination. TranTech’s team also provided engineering support during the construction phase. The project was completed in June of 2017.
