SFIA Seismic Expansion Joints Rehabilitation

TranTech, as a structural subconsultant to MACTEC, developed and reported conceptual details (Phase I) for the rehabilitation of the San Francisco International Airport Level 2 and Level 3 expansion joints. PS&E Phase (Phase II) will consist of development of Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E) for the rehabilitation construction phase of this project. It is anticipated that there will be approximately twelve (12) design drawings. The intent of the design is to rehabilitate the failed or damaged roadway expansion joints between the International Terminal Building (ITB) and Level 2 and Level 3 of roadway bridge ramps at four (4) locations. Construction Specifications will be provided as required by construction requirements and materials selected. An estimate of construction materials are provided for bidding purposes.
