South 200th St. Green River Bridge
City of Kent
TranTech staff, David Belling and Bill Barton provided Construction Administration Management, Construction Inspection and Materials Testing during the construction phase of this project respectively. The project consists of a two-span concrete bridge over the Green River at South 200th Street. The bridge consists of wall piers each supported on three six-foot diameter 90-foot drill shafts with a cast-in-place box girder pier table on five six-foot diameter 120-foot drill shafts and prestressed girders post-tensioned into a continuous superstructure. Also included were a retaining wall, a bike path beneath the bridge, a cul-de-sac, and pavement widening on an adjacent City street, an access ramp on the river dike, river bank slope protection and installation of habitat logs, rocks, and rooted live tree branches.
