SDOT 2008 Sidewalk Repair Design Construction Management
2008 Sidewalk Projects – Bridging the Gap – Groups 1 and 2

TranTech provided the Construction Management Services for SDOT’s “Bridging the Gap” 2008 Sidewalk Repair Project which consisted of 2 separate groups.
Group 1 consisted of 3 separate work locations: Sand Point Way, Westlake Avenue and 6th Ave SE Washington St. Group 2 consisted of 4 separate work locations: Greenwood Ave. N and N. 133rd St., 28th Ave. S. and Frontenac St., 25th Ave. SW, and 28th Ave. NE and NE 127th St.
In addition to constructing sidewalks on these projects, work included removal and relocation of various items including pavement and utilities. Other major work included grading, surfacing, paving, constructing adjacent driveways, retaining walls, curb and gutter, adjusting manholes, vaults, and other items. Completion of this work on time was very critical and both projects were substantially completed on schedule.
